Girvan Arts Festival 2025 Partners

We feel privileged to work with an increasing number of partners each year, across a wide variety of projects. This year, most of the partners featured at the top of the page were an integral part of the Girvan Community Flag Project, with funding (Girvan Community Council, Girvan Town Team & Girvan Arts Festival), providing judges (Girvan Town Team, Go Girvan & Girvan Arts Festival). and encouraging their young people to take part (Glendoune Community Association, Girvan Youth Trust, Invergarven School, Girvan Primary, Sacred Heart Primary & Girvan Academy), but they’re also taking part in many of our other projects.

Girvan Academy, building on last year’s collaboration with us, are again providing us with student volunteers,  and their artwork and photographs will feature in our Art Exhibition.

In addition, the QR code trail will allow everyone to follow the pupils’ imaginative trail around Girvan, seeing the town through their eyes.

We hope that some of the pupils will be providing music during the interludes between events, and the school contributed a large number of entries to the Girvan Community Flag competition.

They are also taking part in the Shop Window Project, which will brighten up Dalrymple Street between Mid-May and the end of June.

Girvan Youth Trust are part of our ‘Festival Fringe’ this year, putting on a mini-exhibition of the art projects they have been doing over the last year.

In addition, they will be taking part in the shop window project, and will be helping to promote some of our musical events at Music on the Prom.

Glendoune Community Association are also taking part in the Shop Window Project, and contributed to the Girvan Community Flag competition.

We are working with Ainsley and the team to encourage people of all ages to get involved with the arts, and to be creative.

CRAG, based at the Wee School Art Place, were the instigators of the ‘Festival Fringe’, putting on a series of workshops over the festival weekend to encourage locals and visitors to get involved in being creative.

One of their groups, Paint ‘n Patter, are also involved in the Shop Window Project.
