Elizabeth McKay is a children’s author from Dalry in North Ayrshire and has had hundreds of stories and articles published in a variety of magazines.
Her Wee Granny series of picture books feature a Scottish Mary Poppins style character with a very surprising tartan bag!
In this interactive session, Elizabeth read from her Wee Granny books, and there was plenty of fun, with memory games about what’s in the bag, colouring in, and even a cupcake hunt.
With the Wee Granny series a big hit with children, this was a great chance to meet Elizabeth.
