Girvan Arts Festival 2023        

Marion, a local writer of two children’s  books, and a regular at South Ayrshire Libraries, was inspired to write Granny Came to Visit for a friend who showered  her grandchild with knitted gifts. It was awarded first prize by the Scottish Association of Writers in 2020.  The Friendship Bench, her second children’s book, was published in 2022. 

Marion’s workshop will be interactive, with the children joining in, making paper hats and generally having fun.
